Go Live (Production)

Production Go-Live Checklist

To activate production access:

1. Complete KYC Verification
   Finish the full business verification (KYC) process by contacting the support team.

2. Request Production Approval
   Submit a request for production access via the support team.

3. Receive Production Credentials
   Once approved, you will receive your production credentials.

4. Update All Endpoints
   Switch your sandbox URLs to the production environment before going live.

   Payment API Base URL

   • Sandbox: https://api.dev.astragate.africa
   • Production: https://api.astragate.africa

   Merchant Portal URL

   • Sandbox: https://merchant.dev.astragate.africa/
   • Production: https://merchant.astragate.africa/

5. Configure Webhooks & Callbacks
   Update your callback/webhook URLs in the Merchant Portal to your production environment endpoints.

6. Test in Production
   Run a few low-value test transactions to validate the complete payment and notification flows.

7. Go Live
   You are now live! Closely monitor your first real transactions and review logs for any issues.

Important Notes

• All API keys generated in the sandbox will not work in production. You must use the production credentials.
• Update any hardcoded sandbox URLs in your codebase before going live.
